Chris Van Hollen\, who was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016 after serving Maryland for over a decade in the U.S. House of Representatives and earlier in the Maryland State Legislature. Throughout his career\, he has been a tireless advocate for equal rights\, justice\, and opportunity\, fighting to create good jobs\, strengthen small businesses\, and expand access to education and job training for all.\n\nIn Congress\, Senator Van Hollen has defended Social Security and Medicare\, worked across party lines to protect the Chesapeake Bay\, expand medical research\, fight childhood cancer\, and pass the ABLE Act to help families with children with disabilities. He is known for tackling tough issues like growing economic inequality with practical\, results-oriented solutions.\nSenator Van Hollen is a graduate of Swarthmore College\, Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government\, and Georgetown Law. He lives in Maryland with his wife\, Katherine\, and they are the proud parents of three children\, Anna\, Nicholas\, and Alexander.\n\nIn addition to Senator Van Hollen\, you can look forward to hearing from our slate of candidates running for US Senate\, US Representative for 3rd District\, Governor\, AG & Secretary of State.\n\nGates open at 11:00 AM\, with meal service starting at 12:00 PM and the program kicking off at 1:00 PM.\nIndividual tickets are just $40.
