DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Hall of Fame is scheduled for 5pm (social hour)\, 6pm (dinner) on Saturday\, June 1\, 2024\, at the Plumber and Steamfitters Union Local 33. 2501 Bell Ave Des Moines\, IA  \nTickets can be purchased through Act Blue: 2024 Hall of Fame Tickets or RSVPs can be submitted to Third District Secretary\, Trevor Holland.\nTicket sales/RSVPs will cease on May 15\, 2024. \nThis event helps us raise money to elect our 3rd District Candidate while also recognizing the amazing volunteerism and activism of Democrats in IA03. \nTickets start at $40 and provide entry to the event\, and a catered meal from Gateway Market. The event features a “Doing the Work” panel of speakers to inspire our district to keep fighting to elect Democrats. \nThe Panel Includes:\nMC: Kira Barker – Polk County Democrats\nAko Abdul-Samad – Iowa House of Representative – 34th District\nRob Barron – Latino Political Network\nJoe Henry – League of United Latin American Citizens\nBecky Tayler – Iowa Safe Schools \nAll award nominations are due April 22\, 2024.
